Olive Czech Faux Pearls & Berry Gemstone Cluster Bracelet - FREE Tutorial

I made this Cluster Bracelet using our amazing Czech Faux Glass Pearls from the last shipment in “Olive color Mix” and new “Berry Mix” center-drilled Peardrop Gemstones from our latest “Berrylicious Collection”. I used Lead/Nickel/Iron-free findings, but you can substitute them with ordinary Iron-based ones for budget friendly version.

You will need:

1 pack x *Berry Mix* Center-Drilled Peardrop Gemstones, 14×10mm
1 pack x *Olive Mix* Czech Faux Pearls, 8-20mm
1 pack x *S-Curve* Rhodium Meatal Connector, 12×4mm
1 pack x Rhodium Round open Jumprings, 4mm x 0.8mm
1 pack x Bali style Antique Silver *Swirl Daisy* Bead-cups, 10mm
1 pack x *Awareness Hope Ribbon* Charms, 18×8mm
1 pack x Rhodium *Twisted* Round Toggle Clasp, 22mm
1 pack x Rhodium Ball Headpins, 50mm x 0.6mm

Tools needed:

Chain Nose pliers
Short Flat Nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Wire cutter
Ruller

Step 1: Making Base Chain from Links

Use Chain Nose pliers and Short Flat nose pliers to open and close Jumprings. It will save your time and nails if you use 2 pliers at once.

Hold Jumpring with 2 pliers at once. With Chain nose pliers move one side of Jumpring away from you and with Short Flat nose pliers move the other side of Jumpring toward you.

Insert 2 pieces of *S-Curve* Links.

Close back Jumpring using Chain nose and Short Flat nose pliers.

You will have 2 *S-Curve* links connected with 1 Jumpring.

Repeat and attach 1 more link.

Continue attaching links until you reach desirable length. Remember that you need to keep space for toggle clasp, about 2.5cm (1inch). To make 7.5 inch long bracelet (19cm) you will need to connect 13 links.

Step 2: Making Pinned Gemstone Peardrops

Please note, that Czech Mixed Faux Glass Pearls comes pre-packed in Clamshell boxes by 30 gram. One Clamshell box contains different type, sizes and shapes beads. This is what is amazing about this Mixes, each Clamshell box is unique and you will never receive same Mix. Each Clamshell box is surprise :)

To make pinned beads you can refer to This Post

Peardrop Gemstones has a bit uneven thickness of hole, some holes are bigger and some smaller. You can check which holes are bigger by inserting Ball Head pin into the Peardrop Gemstone. If Ball comfortably fit and not passing through, than use Ball pin as it. If pin passing through, than you will need to make loop at both ends of Peardrop Gemstone Beads, otherwise bead will not fit properly and may slide through the hole of bead.

Take a Ball pin and insert one Peardrop Gemstone.

Using Chain nose pliers bend the pin at 90 degrees angle as shown on the picture below.

Take a ruler and measure 7-8mm long tail, the rest cut away with Wire Cutter and keep for next step.

Take the balance of pin and make one small loop at one end…

One *Berry Mix* contains 20 Mixed Gemstone Peardrop Beads in Berry colors. On the left shown beads with bigger holes and they have loops on both sides. On the right shown beads with smaller holes and they have Ball on one end and loop at the other end.

Step 3: Making Pinned Czech Faux Glass Pearls

Czech Faux Pearl Mixes contains different sizes and shapes. Using technique for Berry Peardrop Gemstones described above, make pinned beads using Czech Faux Glass Pearls. On bigger sized beads add *Swirl Daisy* cups. You can add fancy Swirl on the end of Ball pin.

Using Round nose pliers hold the pin and start make a coil. Take your time, dont rush.

Continue making a coil. It does’nt matter which way you turning Round nose pliers, as long as it’s comfortable for you.

Once you finish 2 rounds, bend pin as shown on the picture.

Insert 1 *Swirl Daisy* cup, 1 Czech Faux Glass Pearl. Bend the pin at 90 degrees angle, measure 7-8mm long tail and the rest cut away. Form the loop.

Once you finish making pinned Czech Faux Pearl beads, arrange them on the Beading Board to get some idea how you wanna put them together.

Step 4: Putting all together

We will attach pinned beads onto jumprings. Use 2 pliers at once to open and close back jumprings. You can attach one pinned bead per jumpring.

For bolder look you can attach 2 or 3 beads per jumpring.

Attach Charm onto S-Curve link and then attach link onto jumpring.

Once you finished attaching all beads onto jumprings, attach Toggle clasp.

Attach Round part of Toggle Clasp to the left side of Bracelet and Bar part to the right side of bracelet.

That’s it, you did it!

You can purchase all 8 items needed to complete this Bracelet as *Tutorial Supply*.

After completing this Bracelet, I still have left many findings and beads. You can use them to make at least one more Bracelet and keep the rest for future projects.
