Agatized Fossil Coral is the most versatile gemstone and can be a record of a sudden catastrophic event like a volcano, or simply a shell turned to stone in sedimentary layers of limestone formed by ancient sea beds. At best they can be dated between 7 and 20 million years old. Each pattern on these Cabochons is unique and each Cab measures 38mm long x 29mm wide x 6mm deep. Since these Cabochons cut and polished entirely by hand, they may slightly vary in size (+/- 1mm). Suitable for Cabochon surrounding with seed beads or inlay work.
